Job Description: |
| Will provide benefit eligibility services to clients/customers according to applicable policies and procedures, state & federal laws. Will explain eligibility requirements and form completion, processes/reviews applications, provide initial and ongoing client screening, interviews, assesses and investigates applicants for appropriate benefits, acquire verification as needed, interprets and applies relevant rules and regulations in all actions,& refers clients to other agency, public or community resources. Employer requires HS Diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience or completion of 90 quarter hours at an accredited institution of higher learning and 1 year of fulltime (or equivalent part-time) work experience which involved customer contact/interaction as a regular part of the job. Bachelor degree, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint and strong interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills is a plus. |
