WHAT IS T.R.U.E.?

T.R.U.E.: A Young Adults Ministry of Higher Living Christian Church

Ministry Foundation: "and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness." Ephesians 4:24 NKJV

T.R.U.E. Mission: To bridge the gap between young people and the church.

T.R.U.E. Vision:
•   TEACH: Learn and share the Word of God with each other and the world.
•   REACH: Outreach to the community through service and sacrifice.
•   UNITE: Unite young adults with the community and the church to bridge the gap to the Kingdom of heaven
•   EVOLVE: Spiritually mature and obtain wisdom through evangelism and develop disciples.

WHAT DOES T.R.U.E. DO?

Spiritual Sessions:
T.R.U.E. Sessions are designed to equip and empower Young Adults of Higher Living Christian Church to become true disciples. Bring your bible, a journal, and an open heart & mind.

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembly of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Fellowship Events:
One of the best ways to stay connected to church and the mandates set forth by our Father in Heaven is to fellowship with people seeking the same level of spiritual greatness. When saints gather together, God is truly in the midst!

T.R.U.E. has fun in many ways: from bowling to dinners, sporting events to weekend retreats, and movies to amusement parks, we know how to have fun, while keeping it Christ-like!

T.R.U.E. Sisters & Brothers Bible Studies:
Sisters and Brothers Bible Studies provide an opportunity for young adult men and young adult women to study the WORD with a focus on clarity and application as it relates to the unique needs of men and women. Oftentimes, the Sisters will meet separately from the brothers to focus on gender-specific topics. The current WORD of the HOUSE guides these sessions as we strive for Kingdom Living.
