2011 HLSports Basketball Season Team Schedule

Higher Living Christian Church birthed its first athletic team in January 2004 through the vision of Senior Pastor André Landers. Realizing that our youth are faced with many challenges and obstacles, it is our desire and privilege to sow into the lives of our youth to help them overcome the temptations of the world.



Basketball and cheerleading were chosen as the first sports in 2004 as a forum of community outreach through athletics. The basketball and cheerleading programs are designed to target all youth ages 4-18, to give them an opportunity to fellowship with other youth, as their coaches and family members.



Initially we were seeking to have approximately 70 to 75 kids participate during the first basketball and cheerleading season. Needless to say God had other plans, which led over 230 youth to participate in the Higher Living Christian Sports first season of basketball and cheerleading. We now have over 500 kids participating in our basketball and cheerleading league.
